Sagasky - the saga of the short history
My kennel “Sagasky” was established in 2011 when my two litters of Skye Terriers were born.
I have got my first Skye from kennel Skyroll´s of Margareta Rollving-Poser in 2006. “Skyroll´s Cazper” became Swedish champion at 2 years of age and was a lovely and playful Skye.
My next dog, “Skyeomania´s Hamish”, came from Otto Krcal´s well-known kennel in Austria. He is the sire of the first two litters we had. Hamish is Swedish champion and has gained numerous CCs, CACIBs and BOBs.
The next step was to get a female, so “Black Star Bohemia Skywalker” (aka "Bibi"), bred by Jaroslava Serakova in Prague, Czech Republic, joined us here in Sweden, and soon gained several CCs and CACIBs. Bibi had 6 lovely puppies, one female has stayed with us, her name is Agatha Christie and we hope that she will give a litter sooner or later.
She was followed by SE CH “Skyeomania´s Igraine” again from Austria. She is the dm of our second litter of four puppies. From that litter Butterfly is still with us for the future breeding plans.
Later, the English import “Knowlespring Noelle”, bred by Janet Woodhead completed our dog-family. Noelle has gained her Swedish Championship and I am proud of her CACA at the World Dog Show in Salzburg 2012.
In 2013 I bred Noelle to the Finnish male "Niiman´s Always N Forever" which produced a litter of 7 pups.
The same year I imported "Royalist on Top of the World" from Karen Jennings in USA:
I am very grateful to the aforementioned breeders, who have been so kind and helpful and let me have so nice dogs!
The interest in dogs and breeding has been on hold. I had one litter of Airedales in 1971 which I enjoyed enormously and planned to sometimes get back to it, so after 40 years the dream came true with another breed of terriers. But of course there is still an Airedale in the family.
